John Sneddon Thomson (1871-1919?)

Born 1871 8 Union Street, Tillicoultry.

In 1906, when his son Douglas was 8 months old, he went to Canada to work on the railway spanning Canada.
He returned during WWI to fight with the Canadian Army and died shortly after the war (probably 1919) of Influenza in France.  He is buried in France

Mary Sandilands Campbell (1872-1955)

Probably moved back to her parents address 9 Thistle Street when her husband moved to Canada
She owned and ran a dairy. She lived in West Preston Street. After John died she moved to Kirkliston. She died at the home of Douglas Thomson at 'Morag' Newbridge on 29 Jan 1955 age 82 (myocardial degeneration) Buried at the Grange Cemetery.
